Shielding Insecurities

In an attempt to hide their insecurities an insecure person will hide behind what they believe are their strongest qualities. Some of the qualities that people hide behind are their physical appearance, aggressiveness, intelligence, and their wealth.

Example #1
If a person is insecure and believes one of their strongest qualities is their physical appearance, they will dress revealing to show their physique. They hide behind their physical appearance hoping people will view the as physically attractive and not see their insecurities. In an effort to feel better about themselves they will say belittling things about other people.

Example #2
If a person is insecure and believes one of their strongest qualities is their aggressiveness, they will do their best to project an image of being aggressive. They hide behind being aggressive hoping people will view them as an aggressive person and not see their insecurities. In an effort to feel better about themselves they will say belittling things about other people.

Example #3
If a person is insecure and believes one of their strongest qualities is their intelligence, they will do their best to project an image of being intelligent. They hide behind their intelligence hoping people will view them as an intelligent person and not see their insecurities. In an effort to feel better about themselves they will say belittling things about other people.

Example #4
If a person is insecure and believes one of their strongest qualities is their wealth, they will do their best to project an image of being wealthy. They hide behind image of being a wealthy snob hoping people will view them as wealthy snobby and not see their insecurities. In an effort to feel better about themselves they will say belittling things about other people.

Reverse Example of #4
Wealthy people who are not insecure do not feel a need to flaunt their wealth or view and treat others with a lack of respect. They are at ease with themselves because they’re secure in knowing who they are and do not feel a need to hide their insecurities belittling other people.
