What is the difference between love and being in love?

Love is having deep feelings for someone; it is something more than like. It is caring about the well being and happiness of a person.

THE ATTRIBUTES OF BEING IN LOVE
Being in love is having deep feelings for someone; it is something more than like. It is caring about the well being and happiness of a person accompanied by these attributes listed below:

• 1. They are romantically involved with the person.
• 2. They feel love so deeply, that simply the thought of losing that person permanently through death or separation is overwhelming
• 3. They see themselves being with that person for the rest of their lives.
• 4. They feel there is no one else in the world that they are more compatible with than that person.
• 5. They could not stand to see that person with someone else romantically.
• 6. When looking at that person, they do not see someone who is perfect, but someone who is perfect for them. This theory describes its own definition of man’s love and should not be confused with God’s.
